Prices

The price you see on our website is the price you pay.

V.A.T

All of the prices on our website include VAT. This is charged at the UK standard rate of 17.5%. A full VAT receipt will be sent with your goods.

Are there any hidden costs?

Unlike some other online retailers we have no hidden fees or extra charges. We guarantee you will not discover any unexpected charges once you reach the checkout. We have no minimum order, no small order surcharge and nor do we charge you an exorbitant price to deliver your goods.

What about additional taxes?

As we are a British company, we dispatch from within the UK. Unlike some of our competitors, who dispatch from the Channel Islands, we are able to guarantee you will not receive any unexpected VAT or import charges.

How do you deliver?

We ship everything by Royal Mail 1st Class Post.

How much is postage and packaging?

Postage and packaging is free on all orders, regardless of size and weight.

How long does delivery take?

If we receive your order before lunchtime on weekdays, and all the items are in stock, we will dispatch your goods to you the same day. This means that your goods should reach you 24 to 48 hours after we receive your order. If your goods are not in stock we will inform you of an estimated delivery date via email. The Royal Mail aim to deliver 92% of first class post the next day. Occasionally, however, there are delays with the postal system. Please allow longer for your order to arrive, especially around Christmas, New Year and the bank holidays.

What if I’m not at home for delivery?

Most inkjet cartridges will fit through a letterbox. Some though are simply too large, especially if your order contains multiple items. If this is the case, the postman may not be able to easily deliver the order and so will notify you by placing a card through your letterbox telling you how to rearrange delivery.Alternatively, why not have your order delivered to your workplace, your neighbour or a friend’s house? You can have your order delivered to any address in the UK. You can specify the delivery address as you go through the checkout.

What is an original (OEM) cartridge?

An 'original', 'OEM' or 'genuine' cartridge is a cartridge which has been manufactured by the same company that made the printer. i.e. An original Epson cartridge is one manufactured by Epson for use in an Epson printer.

What is a compatible inkjet cartridge?

A compatible cartridge is a brand new cartridge that has been manufactured by a company other than the printer manufacturer. All our compatible cartridges are manufactured right here in the UK by Jet Tec. Jet Tec cartridges are guaranteed to perform at least as well as the original cartridge they are intended to replace.

Why should I buy compatible cartridges?

Why not? The main reason is because it saves you lots of money!

Will I get the same amount of use from a compatible cartridge?

You will get at least the same number of printed pages from compatible or remanufactured cartridges as you will get from original (OEM) cartridges. In many cases, because the compatible contains more ink than the original cartridge, you will be able to print many more pages than you would using an original cartridge.

Will a Jet Tec compatible cartridge damage my printer?

No. Although it may appear a different shape the Jet Tec compatible cartridges have been rigorously tested by quality control to ensure no printer damage will occur.

Does using compatible cartridges invalidate my printer’s warranty?

One question we are often asked by customers is whether the supplier of the inkjet printer may void a warranty because the consumer used a compatible ink. The answer is no, they may not do this. Using Shell or Elf motor oil in your car does not void the warranties provided by the car's manufacturer. The same applies to inkjet printers. The only exception would be if the compatible ink was clearly demonstrated to be the sole reason for any verified damage to the equipment. Millions of Jet Tec cartridges have been sold and used around the world, and there has never been an incident where a customer's warranty was voided. Jet Tec offer a 100% guarantee that their cartridges will not damage your printer in any way. There is no reason that you should not use compatible or remanufactured cartridges. They work and will save you money.

Can I use an original cartridge once I have used a Jet Tec compatible cartridge?

Yes. Jet Tec products will not affect the printer if you wish to switch back to an original. However, we are confident that once you have used a Jet Tec product you will see no reason to go back to using an original cartridge.
