Many ink cartridges can be used more than once. The benefit of this is obvious, it is good for the environment as it keeps the plastic and metal components from simply being dumped in a landfill site.

BRITINK wholly support recycling initiatives such as this which can benefit the environment. This is why we send out a prepaid envelope with all orders to enable you to recycle your old cartridges quickly and easily. All you need to do is put your old ink cartridge into the prepaid envelope provided and drop it into a post box. It is a FREEPOST address so there is no cost to you. Alternatively you can send your old cartridges to our office in Whitchurch, and we will send them on for recycling.

If you have several cartridges and require more of these envelopes, simply contact us and we will send them out to you free of charge.

Our partner, The Recycling Factory have designed processes and manufactured equipment to clean and refill used ink cartridges. Any cartridges that are unusable or damaged are then broken down and the plastics and metals that are recovered are recycled – not sent to landfill.

They are able to recycle virtually all ink cartridges manufactured by Hewlett Packard, Lexmark and Dell. Unfortunately, for legal reasons, cartridges manufactured by Epson and Canon cannot be recycled. Below is a list of the cartridges that can be recycled.
