In addition to the more popular ink cartridges, Britink also supplies toner cartridges. Toner is generally used by businesses in laser printers which print a large number of documents. Rather than in a fluid form like inkjet cartridges, laser toner cartridges are in the form of powder which is a highly concentrated pigment; more commonly known as toner powder.

Most laser printers will take four toner cartridges, black toner, yellow toner, cyan toner and magenta toner. Additional laser printer consumables include imaging drums, transfer kits and fuser kits; these are available along with our toner cartridges at Britink.co.uk when you search for your laser printer.

Compatible toner cartridges
Unlike our ink cartridges, we do not offer compatible toner cartridges at Britink.co.uk; the reason for this being that we have not found a good enough quality compatible to offer our customers and quality is essential to all aspects of our service.

Rather than the remanufacture of toner cartridges, compatibles are often refilled and refilling toner cartridges cannot guarantee consistent quality in the same way that our Jet Tec compatible ink cartridges do; therefore, we do not sell refilled toner cartridges at Britink.

Recycling toner cartridges
Unfortunately, toner cartridges cannot be recycled in the same way that our inkjet cartridges can. Britink supports all recycling initiatives; however, unlike ink cartridges the recycling companies do not offer a recycling service for toner cartridges. This is because of the high postage cost and also because mechanical parts (such as drums and rollers) eventually wear out and the drum becomes depleted or scratched, thus rendering the empty toner cartridges non- recyclable.
